We followed the project curator’s desire to fully immerse the visitor in the journals, designing a responsive grid to host the magnetic images with little distraction, while building a functional annotation system around it.
The main scroll showcases the journals pages, with an independent annotations sidebar.
The annotated snippets highlighted throughout the pages take the visitor to the note page, where an index of all the curator's note can be viewed, as well as the full list of contributors.
It was important to display the journal images as big as possible in the mobile version as well
