Reed Hilderbrand is one of the most influential landscape architecture practices working today, approaching design as an art driven by ideas and guided by values. The firm's rigorous conceptual approach, attention to detail, and engagement with the ecological and social history of their project sites' guided the creation of an extensive platform showcasing 25 years of work.
To navigate 25 years of project history, we created a comprehensive multi-view navigation system that allows users to access projects through a filterable list, dynamic visual grid, and interactive map
Using available environmental data, we brought together the experience of landscape, season and weather to create moments of pause and reflection: an approach that mimics the experience of walking through one of Reed Hildebrand's landscapes at different times of the year
A comprehensive variety of case study modules were used to help RH showcase every aspect of their long-term project planning, production methods and final results, including plant specimens and site maps, an approach that mirrored the level of detail that went into their research process and brought the office's full archive into focus.
